Inspired by Orchard Road's miraculous transformation from a nutmeg plantation to an amazing shopping destination, I have created a vibrant textile print that merges the historic with the modern. Nutmeg, which was once a key trade commodity, is depicted together with Tang Plaza, the first department store on Orchard Road, renowned for its unique architectural facade. The waterproof coat was developed through a zero-waste pattern cutting method that celebrates Orchard Road's heritage and promotes environmentally responsible design.
